San Francisco export Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is headed to Houston, and its first Space City location will open in the Heights.

Permit applications filled with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts indicate that Ike’s will open its doors at 1051 Heights Boulevard in the coming months. Ike’s made its first foray into Texas in Austin, where the chain opened two outposts earlier this year.

No Houston-specific menu details are available just yet, but menus for other Ike’s locations indicate that it will serve a bounty of sandwiches for both carnivores and vegetarians alike. Meaty sandwiches like the Friday the 13th (fried chicken, ranch, and mango habanero sauce) are on the menu, along with vegan “turkey,” meatless meatballs, and veggie-packed options like the Hermione, piled high with cucumber, lettuce, tomato, orange glaze, and provolone. Sauces feature heavily at Ike’s, ranging from cranberry sauce to wasabi mayo and red pesto.

Eater has reached out to Ike’s for more details on when it plans to open in the Heights. Stay tuned for an official opening date.
