This place is built for the ‘Gram

Back in July, new bar Electric FeelGood wrote on Facebook: “Electric FeelGood is getting ready to slide into Midtown.” They weren’t kidding. This highly photogenic, neon-covered spot softly opened yesterday, complete with an actual indoor slide.

This bar at 2416 Brazos Street, Suite A looks like a veritable millennial playground, with fanny packs and smiley faces galore in neon ‘90s colors. Electric FeelGood is from Austin’s Carmack Concepts hospitality group, also responsible for Dogwood. The bar is in a new Midtown going-out development that also houses spots like 77 Degrees and Jack & Ginger’s Irish Pub.

Eater reached out to Electric FeelGood for more details about the menu, and this post will be updated as necessary. In the meantime, check out the bar’s cheerful decor — and that oversize slide! — from Instagram snaps.
