Japan-born noodle chain Jinya Ramen Bar has debuted its newest location in the Heights. The restaurant at the Heights Waterworks development officially kicked open its doors at the end of last week, bringing a legit ramen destination to the growing development, according to a press release. This makes for the chain’s seventh outpost in Space City, and bowls of spicy chicken ramen, creamy vegan ramen, and more noodle options are on offer.

Wings of Houston

This “elevated” chicken wing chain from the minds behind Houston’s own Jus Mac opened over the weekend, bringing saucy (and dry-rubbed) chicken wings in flavors like maple-bacon and tikka masala to its new home at 403 Westheimer Road. Also on the menu: a crispy chicken sandwich, seasoned fries, and rice bowls that can be doused in wing seasoning or sauce. Oh, and plenty of beer on tap.
