Pad Thai, gigantic Fruity Pebbles-covered churros, and boba-studded milk teas in mason jars are just a sliver of the options now available at 11700 Westheimer Road. The Westchase address in the Royal Oaks Shopping Center is now home to California chain Hiccups Teahouse and Restaurant and an adjacent dessert spot called Churroholic.
The long-awaited Asian fusion teahouse is known for fancy drinks often served in mason jars (with flavors like jasmine milk tea or watermelon slush), along with savory dishes like garlic noodles with shaken beef, chicken wings, and loaded fries. Meanwhile, adjoining sister concept Churroholic serves super sweet desserts like a cotton candy ice cream and churro sundae. Both restaurants kicked open the doors last Friday.
