California Chain Lazy Dog Has Another Dog-Friendly Houston Location in the Works

Find it this summer at Stafford development The Grid

Lazy Dog

Good dogs in Stafford can look forward to a plate off Lazy Dog’s pup menu this summer: the dog-friendly Cali chain is set to open another location in Houston. This time, the lodge-themed restaurant is moving into The Grid, a massive $500 million mixed-use development. (Other restaurants at Stafford’s The Grid include Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar and Houston’s much-anticipated In-N-Out.)

A Lazy Dog spokesman confirmed the new location at The Grid with Eater. The plan is to open Lazy Dog in Stafford in July, and the restaurant will begin hiring the 200 teammates it needs in May.

Expect it to look similar to its massive location in Cypress, which opened in July 2019. Lazy Dog serves up lunch, brunch, and dinner, with a dog-friendly patio and a lengthy menu of human eats — spanning everything from lamb barbacoa tacos to shrimp and grits.
