Today is opening day for Adair Downtown, a new restaurant from the minds behind Adair Kitchen, Eloise Nichols Grill, Bebidas, and Skeeters Mesquite Grill. This time, Adair Concepts is poised to capture the hearts of downtown workers with this looker of a restaurant located at Wells Fargo Plaza at 1000 Louisiana Street.
The 4,628-square-foot Adair Downtown is modeled after a classic American bistro, with lots of subway tile and marble floors as envisioned by Gensler Architects and Houston-based McGarr Design & Interiors.
The sun-lit restaurant is divided into four zones that offer something for everybody throughout the workday: there’s a coffee bar stocked pastries and juices; a dining room serving breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks; a cocktail bar with an outdoor patio; and a grab-and-go market selling food, cards, and gifts.
On the menu, diners will find Adair Kitchen favorites like lemon artichoke soup or kale and quinoa bowls. But Executive Chef Roberto Ozaeta also whipped up new dishes exclusive to Adair Downtown like a beef tenderloin crostini, a tuna tartare, chicken paillard, a Thai salad, and an avocado-chorizo toast. Adair Downtown is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
