Sunset, a new rooftop drinking destination that boasts killer views of the Houston skyline, will officially make its debut this month.

A post to the bar’s Instagram account indicates that it will open the doors at 2119 Dallas Street on January 17. As reported previously, Sunset is a project of second-generation bar owner Dominic Moreau, who employed the crowd-investing platform NextSeed to raise $150,000 to complete construction on the ritzy rooftop space. Drinkers will be able to spread out over 1,600 square feet of patio space, along with an indoor area that’s separated from the patio with a glass partition.

The menu at Sunset will focus largely on martinis, wine, and locally brewed craft beers, along with a list of cocktails “inspired by sunsets around the world.” Mostly, though, expect Sunset to be a sophisticated spot for seeing and being seen. Oh, and taking in beautiful Texas sunsets.
