Hugely popular Filipino fried chicken chain Jollibee will open a third location in Houston before the end of 2020.

As Eater reported in a year ago, the newest location will be located near Westchase, at 13347 Westheimer Road, just outside Eldridge Parkway. It will join the chain’s other Houston stores, including one in Missouri City, which opened in June, and a longstanding location on South Main Street.

Jollibee is the largest fast food chain in the Philippines, and is known for its extra-crunchy fried chicken, served with adobo rice. mashed potatoes and corn, a well as the “jolly spaghetti”, a dish served with shredded cheese and sweet tomato sauce. Its “Chickenjoy” frequently bests chains like KFC and Church’s in taste tests, and hours-long lines regularly form when new locations open up in the US.

The newest Houston store is part of a broader expansion for Texas and the United States, which includes a restaurant in the Dallas suburb of Plano that opened in August, and the first central Texas location, opening soon in San Antonio. The restaurant’s menu is available for delivery exclusively through Doordash.

No word yet on an exact opening location for Westheimer, but expect it to be within the next few weeks.
