Taqo Mexican Kitchen y Tequileria is open in the Heights
Houstonia checked out the new Taqo Mexican Kitchen y Tequileria, now open in the former Happy All Chinese Restaurant at 1343 Yale Street. The Heights taco spot offers a choice of blue corn, flour, or cactus tortillas, with lots of veggie options in addition to meaty pork carnitas and brisket barbacoa. Soon there will be a full bar, breakfast service, and lockers for customers to store tequila bottles. Eventually, the restaurant plans to serve its own tequila, made in Mexico.
