Mendocino Farms, the California-based sandwich shop that’s already dazzled Houston diners with its healthy, super-fresh eats, has set its sights on a new location in The Woodlands.
Documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicate that Mendocino Farms is looking to begin construction this summer on a 2,872 square foot space at 2000 Hughes Landing Boulevard. The work is expected to be completed by September, which means that this suburban outpost of Mendocino Farms could arrive before the end of the year .
The chain has already made an aggressive expansion into Houston, with three locations (Rice Village, Downtown, and Uptown Park) already slinging sandwiches, and another two (Heights, Two Allen Center in Downtown) that are set to open in the coming months. For the uninitiated, Mendocino Farms has earned raves from Houston diners for its diverse menu of sandwich, salad, and grain bowl options.
Stay tuned for more details on when Mendocino Farms will make its debut in The Woodlands.
