Pearland barbecue king and restaurateur Ronnie Killen has announced plans to expand his smoked meats empire to The Woodlands.

Killen announced his plans on Instagram over the weekend, and a Facebook page created for the restaurant indicates that it will open at 8800 Six Pines Drive. The original Killen’s Barbecue made its debut in Pearland in 2014, and has since attracted lengthy lines and earned celebrity fans like J.J. Watt. Since then, the chef has opened a slew of popular restaurants, including Killen’s STQ and Killen’s Burgers. He’s also currently working on a new comfort food focused restaurant in Houston proper that’s expected to open this year.

At the new outpost, diners can expect the same super-tender, perfectly smoky brisket and potato salad at the original Killen’s. Per CultureMap, Killen will give locals a taste of what’s to come at a series of weekly pop-ups at the restaurant’s future location starting on February 15.
