Where to Find Take-Out Food While Houston’s Dining Rooms Are Closed

The city’s best restaurants are offering take-out, some for the first time ever

As the coronavirus pandemic continues and Houstonians self-quarantine inside their homes, restaurants across the city are adding take-out, delivery, and curbside pickup options.

Tired of depleting your stockpiled snacks, but still trying to engage in responsible social distancing? Hit one of these Houston establishments for some of the city’s fanciest fare without having to sit in a crowded dining room or even get out of the car.

  • Indianola — The full menu and and wine list are available for curbside pick-up, and diners can call the restaurant for at-home delivery.
  • Brennan’s of Houston — Offering take-out and delivery options, including a 16-ounce chateaubriand for two ($62) and truffle roasted chicken ($38).
  • UB Preserv — Offering nearly a dozen appetizer and entree options, including the famed crispy rice salad ($14) and Vietnamese short rib fajitas ($65) for pick-up from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sundays. Online orders can be placed via Shopify, or diners can call the restaurant to order.
  • Turkey Leg Hut — Offering takeout and delivery within a 15-mile radius of the restaurant daily.
  • Eugene’s Gulf Coast Cuisine — Offering its full menu via curbside takeout, call the restaurant to order.
  • B.B. Lemon — Offering a limited menu for curbside takeout from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
  • FM Kitchen & Bar — Offering a limited menu (burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and desserts) for curbside pickup and delivery only. Phone-in and online orders will receive a 20% discount.
  • Stanton’s City Bites — Offering takeout during regular business hours, call the restaurant to order.
  • Poitin Bar & Kitchen — Offering to-go, delivery, and pick-up dishes daily from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., call the restaurant to order.
  • Lucille’s — Offering a limited lunch, brunch, and dinner menu at reduced prices for curbside pickup and delivery. Delivery is available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
  • Finn Hall — Offering takeout and delivery from all five eateries, including Craft Burger and Pizza Zquare.
  • Dandelion Cafe — Offering its full menu and family meals for curbside pickup and delivery from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
  • Goode Co. Seafood — Offering its full menu for curbside pickup and delivery
  • Guadalajara Hacienda — Offering its full menu for to-go and delivery.
  • Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen — All locations offering curbside pickup, takeout, and delivery.
  • Frank’s Americana Revival — Full menu is available for carryout and curbside service, and diners will receive a $20 gift card for future purchases through the end of March.
  • Weights + Measures — Offering pre-packaged dinners for two with freshly made pasta that can be cooked at home for $35, along with bottles of wine available for takeout or curbside pickup.
  • Alice Blue — Offering curbside service for the full menu. Call the restaurant to order and pay by phone.
  • The Burger Joint — Both the Montrose and Heights locations are offering curbside pickup. Diners can place orders online (Montrose only) or call the restaurant. Note: cash payments are not accepted for curbside pickup.
  • Hungry’s — Both the Memorial and Rice Village locations of Hungry’s are offering free delivery on all orders, along with curbside pickup. Two-packs of wine will be available for pickup, along with its “Family Feast for Four,” which includes the selection of four entrees and two sides for $45.
  • Brasserie du Parc — Offering a limited menu for curbside pickup and delivery from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
  • Feges BBQ — Offering free delivery within a seven mile radius of the restaurant, along with takeout, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
  • The Rustic — Receive a $15 gift card with all entrees purchased via curbside pickup. Gift cards are valid for 30 days following the restaurant’s reopening.
  • Etoile Cuisine et Bar — Offering a “special, multi-course” menu available for curbside pickup or delivery within a five-mile radius from the restaurant. Check out the menu online and call ahead to order.
  • Russo’s Pizzeria — Offering DIY pizza kits and free delivery, plus 20% off for all orders placed through the Russo’s website.
  • Bistro Provence — Offering its full menu for curbside pickup, including wine, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
  • Jonathan’s The Rub — Offering free delivery within a three-mile radius of the restaurant, along with its full menu for curbside pickup.
  • Kenny & Ziggy’s Delicatessen — Full menu available for curbside pickup.
  • One Dim Sum — Offering 15% off for all curbside pickup orders.
  • Hugo’s — With two hours of advance notice, diners can order enchiladas, stuffed chiles, and more in bulk via Hugo’s website.
  • B&B Butchers — Offering a take-home, 3-course dinner for two priced at $135. Diners can choose from beef Wellington and a 20-ounce Chateaubriand for the entree, Caesar salad or meatballs for an appetizer, and chocolate cake or key lime pie for dessert.
  • Riel — Offering curbside service for a limited selection of menu options, including the restaurant’s mushroom empanadas, butter burgers, and fried rice, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily. All pick-up orders will include a $15 gift card for future purchases.
  • Last Concert Cafe — Offering curbside service for its full menu.
  • The Union Kitchen — Offering curbside service at all locations, along with free delivery for patrons within a three-mile radius of each restaurant.
  • The Red Lion — Offering a truncated carry-out menu from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, including $3 tacos, $4 sides, and classic English dishes like shepherd’s pie and fish and chips.
  • Bisou — Offering curbside pickup for its full lunch, brunch, and dinner menus from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
  • Doris Metropolitan — The entire menu is available for pickup from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
  • Guard and Grace — Offering 20% off all takeout orders through the end of March, along with curbside pickup.
  • Coltivare — Call the restaurant for take-out, and plan to pick up at the “side door” on Arlington Street. Note that take-out orders include a 10% service charge.
  • Rainbow Lodge — Order from the curbside pick-up menu and grab your order from the valet parking line, along with a $20 gift card for a future visit.
  • Peli Peli — In addition to take-out, Peli Peli is offering free delivery to patrons near its Cinco Ranch, Vintage Park, Galleria, Katy, and The Woodlands locations. Lunch, brunch, and dinner options are available, and diners can place their orders online.
