Chick Houz, a brand new destination for juicy Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken, has opened its doors in Houston.
The restaurant quietly made its debut last week at 14838 East Park Row Drive, and has had at least one sell-out day since its opening. The menu here is centered around pollo a la brasa, a rotisserie chicken preparation that’s one of the most popular dishes in Peru. At Chick Houz, the chicken is piled onto salads, sandwiches, and wraps, or served whole with sides like yucca fries and grilled vegetables.
Outside of the chicken dishes on the menu, Chick Houz will also serve rotisserie pork lechon sandwiches, bowls of lomo saltado, and salchipapas, a hearty combination of all-beef hot dogs, french fries, and “pink sauce.” Dessert options include crunchy fried churros and tres leches cake.
Chick Houz is currently open for dine-in and takeout orders from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
