Voodoo Donuts will soon open a second Houston location in the Montrose.

The Portland-based chain, famous for it colorful doughnuts in offbeat flavors, will open at 1214 Westheimer Road, in the newly-revamped shopping center that previously housed Erotic Cabaret and Nidda Thai. The news was announced via a press release sent by real estate agents Lee & Associates, who brokered the deal.

Voodoo Donut’s first Houston shop opened in January at Washington Avenue and Yale Street, where it was an immediate hit. More than six months after its debut, lines of cars regularly form at the drive-through window there. The Montrose location will include roughly 3,000 feet of retail space.

Voodoo’s colorful take on treats includes a Captain Crunch cereal-covered doughnut, a raised yeast doughnut topped with maple icing and crispy bacon, and a mango-filled jelly doughnut garnished with vanilla frosting and Tang powder.

No word yet on an opening timeline for the Montrose location, stay tuned for updates on its arrival.
