Chinese boba chain Happy Lemon will soon arrive in Texas.

The shop, which serves up bubble teas, fruit slushies, cheese teas and more, has announced at least four locations for the Lone Star State, including one in Houston’s Asiatown. An opening date for the Houston location, at 9938 Bellaire Boulevard, has not yet been announced, but the brand has already launched an Instagram, Facebook page and website to tease its Texas openings. Other locations are slated for the Dallas area, Austin and San Antonio.

The massive franchise was first founded in China in 2006 and now has more than 1500 locations worldwide, including in Taiwan, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, Canada and the United States, particularly the West Coast. The shop is known for its wide variety of ultra-fruity drinks in flavors like citrus, melon and berry. In addition to boba, Happy Lemon sells smoothies and fruity slushes in flavors like mango lemon, and cheese teas, which are finished with a thick whipped topping that is a blend of cream cheese and condensed milk and can be either sweet or salted. They also offer bubble waffles in flavors like matcha and Oreo cookie.

When it opens, the Houston shop will be located in the same shopping center as Parisian Bakery and Cafe and Jasmine Asian Cuisine at Bellaire Boulevard and Beltway 8. Stay tuned for an opening date.
