Where to Watch the Houston Astros Take On Atlanta in the World Series

Where to find deals on drinks, food specials, and big-screen TVs for the Astros’s trip to the 2021 World Series

After the weird year of baseball that was the 2020 season — half the number of games, and no fans in the stadiums — the Houston Astros are once again headed to the World Series, for the third time in five years.

The ‘Stros will face Atlanta in the Fall Classic, a best-of-seven series that begins in Houston at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26. For those who can't score a coveted ticket to Minute Maid Park, several Houston bars and restaurants are hosting World Series watch parties, complete with drink specials, food discounts, and lots and lots of orange.

Angel Share

Happy hour during game days, featuring half-off Houston beers and spirits. 924 Congress Street

Antone’s Famous Po’ Boys

Score any of Antone’s classic po’boys for just $1 during World Series games. 4520 San Felipe Street and 2724 W. TC Jester Boulevard

Arnaldo Richards’ Picos

On game days, Picos is offering $10 taco plates with a choice of barbacoa, pork al pastor, beef al pastor, baja fish or cochinita, plus $3 beers and specials on margaritas.


This backyard bar will be showing the game on a massive big screen outside and will offer $7 Orange Wagons, a swirl of Axelrad’s mango daiquiri and frozen blue lemonade. 1517 Alabama Street

Bobcat Teddy’s Ice House

This ice house has 10 TVs, and will set up a large projector in the parking light for games. Specials include Breggy Bombs, Orbit shots, and $15 beer buckets. 2803 White Oak Drive


The restaurant was introduced a handful of new dishes, including a RC Ranch smoked wagyu beef hot dog with barbecue sauce, chow-chow and redneck cheddar for $17, and will be offering 8th Wonder Dome Faux’m for $5 during games. 807 Taft Street


The courtyard will be open starting at 4 p.m. on game days with Astros on the TV and select Houston beers at $10 for two brews. Brennan’s is also serving a menu of ballpark-style bites for $12 each, including boudin corn dogs, Flamin Hot Cheetos fried chicken wings, home plate sliders, and NOLA barbecue shrimp fries. 3300 Smith Street

Burger Joint

Both locations will be giving away free Crush City creamsicle milkshakes for every Astros homerun. Both locations also have large patios that will be showing the games. 2703 Montrose Boulevard and 2002 N Shepherd Drive

Cactus Cove Bar & Grill,

Offering specials on chili cheese fries and chili cheese nachos, plus $4 Crawford Bocks (named after a street outside Minute Maid Park), as well as orange beer. 3333 W. 11th Street

Cedar Creek Bar & Grill

Get hot dog baskets for $8, Crawford Bock for $5, $2 jello shots, plus they’ll be serving orange beer. 1034 W 20th Street

Dessert Gallery

It’s not exactly a sports bar, but bakery Dessert Gallery is making a lineup of limited-edition Astros-themed cookies perfect for any watch party. They’re priced at $4.75 each. 3600 Kirby Drive


Lots of game day food deals, including a draft or bottled beer with a Fat Dog, Classic Roadster, chicken Roadster, or turkey burger, and a side, for $15; 6 wings for $10; 3 pitzas for $10; and cheesy fried mac bites for $6. 2221 W Alabama Street

Eight Row Flint

Watch the game on the bar’s big screen and enjoy the “Astros Thrill” — a bucket of Karbach beers served with shots. They’ll also have nachos and hot dogs for $5 each. 1039 Yale Street

Feges BBQ

The Spring Branch location of Feges will be offering Sichuan rib tips for $10 on days the Astros are playing., and diners can add on two 8th Wonder beers to the special for an additional $6. Feges will also be serving up an orange frozen drink made with mango and Lambrusco. 8217 Long Point Road

FM Kitchen & Bar

Tons of food specials at both locations, including an FM Burger with fried or tots and a Crawford Bock, all for $12. 1112 Shepherd Drive and 907 Westheimer Road

Hay Merchant

Get a 44 Farms all-beef hot dog with mustard, relish, and onion on a pretzel bun, plus half off 8th Wonder’s Dome Faux’m and Hopston beers when the Astros are winning. 1100 Westheimer Road

Jax Grill

The neighborhood bar and grill will offer $2 beers and margaritas during Astros playoff games at all three locations — Katy, Shepherd, and South Rice. Multiple locations

Kenny & Ziggy’s

Go big with K&Z’s massive Home Run Sandwich, topped with kosher salami as “first base,” pastrami as “second,” corned beef as “third,” and house-roasted turkey breast as “home,” along with layers of rye, coleslaw, and Russian dressing, topped with provolone cheese and red sweet peppers. Monkey’s Tail

It’s Dollar Dog Night at Monkey’s Tail anytime the Astros are playing, plus score buckets of Karbach Crawford Bock for $6 (each bucket contains 6 beers), and $5 F**k the Braves shots. Monkey’s Tail normally opens at 4 p.m., but for day games they’ll be opening early — an hour before first pitch. New York Deli & Coffee Shop and New York Eatery
