Where to Watch the Houston Astros Take On Atlanta in the World Series

After the weird year of baseball that was the 2020 season — half the number of games, and no fans in the stadiums — the Houston Astros are once again headed to the World Series, for the third time in five years.

The ‘Stros will face Atlanta in the Fall Classic, a best-of-seven series that begins in Houston at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26. For those who can't score a coveted ticket to Minute Maid Park, several Houston bars and restaurants are hosting World Series watch parties, complete with drink specials, food discounts, and lots and lots of orange.

Arnaldo Richards’ Picos

On game days, Picos is offering $10 taco plates with a choice of barbacoa, pork al pastor, beef al pastor, baja fish or cochinita, plus $3 beers and specials on margaritas.

Axelrad

This backyard bar will be showing the game on a massive big screen outside and will offer $7 Orange Wagons, a swirl of Axelrad’s mango daiquiri and frozen blue lemonade. 1517 Alabama Street

Bobcat Teddy’s Ice House

This ice house has 10 TVs, and will set up a large projector in the parking light for games. Specials include Breggy Bombs, Orbit shots, and $15 beer buckets. 2803 White Oak Drive

Bludorn

The restaurant was introduced a handful of new dishes, including a RC Ranch smoked wagyu beef hot dog with barbecue sauce, chow-chow and redneck cheddar for $17, and will be offering 8th Wonder Dome Faux’m for $5 during games. 807 Taft Street

Brennan’s

The courtyard will be open starting at 4 p.m. on game days with Astros on the TV and select Houston beers at $10 for two brews. Brennan’s is also serving a menu of ballpark-style bites for $12 each, including boudin corn dogs, Flamin Hot Cheetos fried chicken wings, home plate sliders, and NOLA barbecue shrimp fries. 3300 Smith Street

Burger Joint

Cactus Cove Bar & Grill,

Offering specials on chili cheese fries and chili cheese nachos, plus $4 Crawford Bocks (named after a street outside Minute Maid Park), as well as orange beer. 3333 W. 11th Street
