Postino, the wildly popular wine bar known for its boozy happy hours and shareable bruschetta boards, is headed to Katy.

Permit applications filed with the Texas Department of License and Regulation indicate that Postino is headed to Cinco Ranch, set to occupy the space at 23501 Cinco Ranch Boulevard, Suite D112. A representative for Postino confirms the planned expansion, but declined to elaborate on an opening timeline for the Katy outpost. As previously reported by Eater, Postino has made a major push into Houston in recent years. There are currently three Postino locations in the Houston area, including restaurants in the Heights, Montrose, and Town and Country Village.

For those who haven’t yet tried Postino, diners can expect an extensive list of affordable wines, beer from local breweries, and snacks like tuna tartare, grilled meat skewers, and bruschetta topped with ricotta, dates, and pistachios, among other options. Its happy hour menu is especially compelling, with $5 glasses of wine on offer until 5 p.m. daily and, after 8 p.m., a $25 special that includes a bottle of wine and a bruschetta board.

Stay tuned for more details on when Postino will make its debut in Katy, likely sometime in early 2022 per the planned completion date for construction on its space.
