Houston's legendary optimism is only outshone by its caring heart; this is a city where charity really does begin at home. And, since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, many restaurants and bars are offering special dishes and cocktails to honor the survivors and fighters – and their families – of this disease. Some of those specials even come with donations to breast cancer charities and non-profits. So eat and drink up – it's for a good cause. —Holly Beretto
