Beer lovers rejoice: The craft beer movement in the greater Houston area is in full throttle from Conroe to Galveston. Microbreweries pumping out our favorite suds like Saint Arnold, Karbach and 8th Wonder are becoming drinking destinations in their own right.

All of these craft breweries offer tastings, pints and some of them even have patios. Points are sorted alphabetically and if there's one you think should be on the list, please feel free to drop a note or recommendation in the comments section below or via the tip line.

The Eatsie Boys team ventured into the craft beer market two years ago and launched 8th Wonder in the EaDo warehouse district. Named after the Houston Astrodome, and outfitted with actual stadium seating from the namesake landmark, 8th Wonder is one of Houston’s most buzzed producers. They have recently opened a back patio for events or afternoon tasting as well.
