It has become increasingly clear that Houston is on the road to becoming a great city in which to drink wine. While a certain segment of the dining population will always seek out the biggest, baddest, priciest California cabs, more sophisticated drinkers are discovering the taste and value in lesser-known vintages. There's also a dynamic community of sommeliers eager to share their knowledge and guide their guests to choices they'll truly enjoy. While this map isn't exhaustive, each choice offers good value, knowledgeable service and tempting choices. Happy imbibing.
